The faculty and the students of Water Engineering and Management program of AIT contributed to THA 2019 International Conference on Water Management and Climate Change towards Asia’s Water-Energy-Food Nexus and SDGs on 23-25 January 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand (https://www.tha2019.org/Home_list.asp). The objective of this conference was to provide a platform for the researcher, scientist as well as engineers to present new advancement in the field towards water management and sustainable development goal with a special emphasis on the climate change and adaptation.
Our distinguished faculty members, Prof. Tawatchai Tingsanchali and Dr. Sutat Weesakul also presented their research on the topics of ‘HYDRO-GEOSPATIAL Technique for Flood Mapping’ and ‘NATURE BASED solution on Flood Management’ respectively. Along with the faculty members our recent PhD graduate, Dr. Siriwat Boonwichai also presented his experience and insight on ‘Adaptation Strategies for Rice Production under Climate Change Scenarios’
