Workshop on Climate Risk-based Decision Analysis (CRIDA) and PCSWMM

The Water Engineering and Management (WEM) program of AIT in collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Institute for Water Resources (IWR) conducted a workshop on Climate Risk-based Decision Analysis (CRIDA) and Stormwater Management Modelling software “PCSWMM” in Udon Thani, Thailand from 14-16 November 2022.

Prof. Mukand Singh Babel, Dr. Ho Huu Loc, Mr. Shaswat Sharma, and Mr. Fahad Ahmed from WEM, AIT along with Dr. Guillermo F. Mendoza from IWR discussed the theoretical aspects and conducted hands-on-training on PCSWMM software for flood modeling The workshop focused on the basics of PSCWMM modeling starting from creating a simple model to the addition of low impact development (LIDs) measures in the model. Practitioners (including government officials from Udonthani municipality) and academics from Khon Kaen University participated and benefited from the workshop.
