Professors from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) showcased their expertise at a recent seminar organized by the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) on “Applying Earth Observation (EO) Data for Water Resource Management.” The seminar, held on August 30-31, 2023, aimed to exchange knowledge on water resource information innovation using Earth Resource Observation Satellite data.
Dr. Sarawut Ninsawat (RSGIS) and Dr. Mohana Sundaram and Dr. Natthachet Tangdamrongsub (WEM) from AIT presented their research on “Application of Evapotranspiration Data (ET) from Satellites to Support Water Resources and Climate Work.” The seminar facilitated discussions on the application of EO data in water resource management and showcased AIT’s innovative approaches to address ET estimation challenges.
