To commemorate the World Environment Day on 5th June, the Asian Institute of Technology, together with International Water Management Institute (IWMI), CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems (WLE) and Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University jointly organized a Webinar “Water, Climate Change and Sustainability” by launching a book titled “Water, Climate Change & Sustainability” recently published by Wiley.
Dr. Eden Y. Woon, President of AIT, delivered the welcome remarks and highlighted all the thematic focuses of AIT. Also, the webinar consisted of a keynote lecture by Prof. Stefan Uhlenbrook, Program Director for CGIAR Research Program WLE and Strategic Program Director (Water, Food & Ecosystems) in IWMI. The event also included the introduction of the book by three editors Prof. Vishnu P. Pandey (Tribhuvan University), Prof. Sangam Shrestha (AIT), and Dr. David Wiberg (IWMI) and from chapter lead authors. Additionally, the brief remarks were delivered by the following eminent persons:
