WEM doctoral students Mr. Saurav KC, Mr. Sanjiv Neupane, Ms. Shakthi K. Gunawardana and Ms. Pragya Pradhan participated and presented their research posters in the 9th International Joint Student Seminar on “Civil Infrastructures” jointly organized by the Regional Network Office for Urban Safety (RNUS), School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand and International Center for Urban Safety Engineering (ICUS), Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo (UTokyo), Japan. The seminar was held on 8 – 10 December 2020 at Video-Teleconference Room, AIT Library, and online through zoom with the objective of sharing research information and friendships to improve presentation skills among major Asian universities.
36 students (13 countries) from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand; The University of Tokyo, Japan; Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan; Tsinghua University, China; Tohoku University, Japan and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand presented and discussed in their research covering different fields, such as disaster prevention, transportation, structural, geotechnical, water, and environmental engineering.
