The book entitled Disaster Resilience and Sustainability: Adaptation for Sustainable Development co-edited by Dr. Indrajit Pal, Prof. Rajib Shaw, Dr. Riyanti Djalante and Prof. Sangam Shrestha has been published by Elsevier on 23 June 2021. This book was the product of the “First International Symposium on Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development”, organized by AIT along with other partners in March 2019. AIT President Dr. Eden Y. Woon inaugurated the new book on the 2nd International Symposium on Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development (24-25 June 2021).

This book links disaster risk management with sustainable development under a common umbrella, showing that effective disaster resilience strategies and practices lead to achieving broader sustainable development goals. The Key features of the book are:
