The Dresden Nexus Conference 2022 (DNC2022) focuses on strengthening biodiversity with other challenges in society (e.g., climate change, urban and regional development, agri-food and forest systems and circular economy). Under the theme “Biodiversity – stewardship for vital resources”, the fourth Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC) will take place on 23–25 May 2022. It is generally an online conference (sessions) with selected live and on-site elements and formats. DNC2022 welcomes contributions that explore and advance our understanding of the resource nexus thereby facilitating sustainability transformation. Contributions should be aligned with one of the sessions listed under ‘session topics’. Contributors should address questions raised by the panel and link their research to this core issue of biodiversity and the resource nexus. The conference organizers welcome contributions from both the areas of research and practice, where either disciplinary or inter-disciplinary, or transdisciplinary approaches are applied. Conceptual contributions are equally welcome, as well as quantitative and qualitative empirical analyses set out single cases or comparative studies.

The abstract submission deadline is 10 February 2022.
