Studying Water Engineering and Management at AIT has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my academic and professional journey. After completing my Civil Engineering degree in Nepal, working in the water supply sector for several years, and pursuing postgraduate studies in Canada, I wanted to further strengthen my knowledge and research skills in the water sector. AIT provided the perfect environment to do so. What I appreciated most was the strong research culture and the continuous guidance and support from faculty members throughout my studies. The professors were always approachable and genuinely invested in students’ learning and development. Combined with AIT’s diverse international community, this experience broadened my perspective, strengthened my confidence, and prepared me for the next stage of my career. I am grateful for the knowledge, mentorship, and lifelong connections I gained during my time at AIT.
AIT मा Water Engineering and Management अध्ययन गर्नु मेरो शैक्षिक तथा व्यावसायिक यात्राको अत्यन्तै महत्वपूर्ण अनुभव रह्यो। नेपालमा सिभिल इन्जिनियरिङ अध्ययन पूरा गरेर केही वर्ष खानेपानी क्षेत्रमा काम गरेपछि म थप अध्ययनका लागि क्यानडा गएको थिएँ। क्यानडा मा दुई वर्षको अध्ययन पूरा गरेपछि जल क्षेत्रसम्बन्धी आफ्नो ज्ञान तथा र रिसर्च लाई अझ सुदृढ बनाउने लक्ष्यका साथ म AIT आएको थिएँ।AIT ले मलाई त्यसका लागि उत्कृष्ट अवसर प्रदान गर्यो। यहाँको रिसर्चको बतावरण र प्रोफेसर हरूको निरन्तर साथ र सहयोग आनि मार्गदर्शन मलाई विशेष रूपमा मन पर्यो। प्रोफेसर हरू सधैं सहयोगी हुनुहुन्थ्यो र विद्यार्थीहरूको learning तथा professional development प्रति वास्तवमै प्रतिबद्ध देखिनुहुन्थ्यो। साथै, विभिन्न देशका विद्यार्थीहरूसँगको सहकार्यले मेरो दृष्टिकोण फराकिलो बनायो, आत्मविश्वास बढायो र भविष्यको करियरका लागि बलियो आधार तयार गरिदियो। AIT मा बिताएको समयबाट प्राप्त ज्ञान, अनुभव, मार्गदर्शन र सम्बन्धहरूका लागि म सदैव कृतज्ञ रहनेछु।
