WEM Faculty Participated in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Program

Dr. Nurul Husna Hassan, an expert in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and fluid–structure interaction in hydraulic structures, and Dr. Ekbordin Winijkul, an expert in air quality management and satellite remote sensing for air quality monitoring, participated in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Program at the Faculty of Water Sciences, Ludovika University of Public Service, Hungary, between 13–17 April 2026.

The program aimed to strengthen academic collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and enhance international engagement between AIT and Ludovika University. It supports mobility activity related to Dr. Nurul’s and Dr. Ekbordin’s professional development and to enhance learning and personal development needs. Through lectures, laboratory visits, and professional exchanges, they shared AIT’s expertise in plastic pollution management, water engineering, hydraulic modelling, and flood resilience, while exploring new opportunities for joint research and academic collaboration.

Dr. Nurul delivered lectures on water engineering, flood behaviour, hydraulic systems, and the application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in water systems analysis.

The Erasmus+ mobility strengthened institutional ties between AIT and Ludovika University while fostering the exchange of expertise in areas such as plastic pollution management, water engineering, hydraulic modelling, flood risk management, climate resilience, and environmental protection. The mobility was successfully implemented under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility framework with the support and coordination of the Office of International Affairs at AIT and the Faculty of Water Sciences at Ludovika University of Public Service, Hungary.
