On April 21ˢᵗ, 2026, members of the WEM faculty, including the Academic Program Chair, Asst. Prof. Natthachet Tangdamrongsub, Prof. Sangam Shrestha, Asst. Prof. Mohana Sundaram, Asst. Prof. Nurul Hassan, together with WEM staff and students, join the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, an important tradition during the Songkran festival is showing respect and gratitude to elders and benefactors by pouring scented water or jasmine-infused water onto their hands to ask for blessings and forgiveness.

In this ceremony, our WEM family members paying respect and exchanging blessings, followed by cheerful conversations, snacks, and refreshments that brought everyone closer together.

The events ended with friendly water fights among the participants to symbolize ritual cleansing, washing away of bad luck, misfortunes, and negativity from the previous year, welcoming the new year with a fresh start.
