Two faculty from Water Engineering and Management (WEM) program are recipients of this year’s AIT Distinguished Teaching Award and Researcher Award.
Prof. Mukand S. Babel is the recipient of ‘AIT Distinguished Teaching Award 2019’ in the category of 15 or less students. The teaching awards are based on student evaluation and feedback of courses taught in 2018. Prof. Babel is also the recipient of AIT Distinguished Research Leader Award in 2016. The Scopus database shows that Prof. Babel has h-index of 25 with 129 publications and 2147 citations.
Dr. Sangam Shrestha is the recipient of the ‘AIT Distinguished Research Leader Award 2019’. The researcher awards are based on the evaluation of faculty members’ sponsored activities and publications during the year 2018. Dr. Sangam is also the recipient of AIT Distinguished Research Leader Award in 2015. The Scopus database shows that Dr. Sangam has h-index of 18 with 88 publications and 1609 citations.
